Rates & Insurance Information – Precise Psychological

Therapy rates

Initial therapy appointment will be $200, and this will last 60-90 minutes and is considered a diagnostic evaluation and assessment.

Individual therapy sessions will be $150 per session, at 53 minutes per session.

Psychological Evaluation & Testing Fees

Rates for psychological evaluations, assessments and testing services are dependent on the type of evaluation that is required to answer your presenting question. Evaluations are customized to each person and based on the initial intake assessment. Rates are based on time to complete testing, review of any records, collateral contacts, test scoring with interpretation, report writing and feedback session.

Scheduling an Initial Evaluation and intake assessment requires a consultation phone call. Deposit of $100 required unless excluded per insurance requirements (medicaid is excluded for example). Expect the initial appointment to be approximately 1-2 hours. Deposits counts towards below estimate for evaluations for self pay rates, otherwise with insurance it will be deducted from any co-payment requirements. Deposit will be non-refundable if less than 48 hours notice is given for cancelations.

A more detailed and customized estimate can be provided at the initial evaluation, but below are some estimates of total costs:

Example Evaluations & Cost Estimates

• IQ/Intelligence testing $500 – This includes: Brief interview, Full scale IQ testing, score report and 30 minute feedback session.
• ADHD evaluation $800 – This includes: clinical interview, administering behavioral rating scales, psychological tests & evaluations to rule out other possible explanations, and cognitive testing. Feedback session with written report sent to a physician or other provider included.
• Basic psychological evaluations $1000 – This includes: clinical interview, administration of scales, psychological tests, diagnostic assessment, written report and a feedback session.
• MMPI Only – $250 – no clinical intake evaluation requested

Evaluations are time intensive. As noted above, they have multiple layers of requirements. Evaluations are done over several sessions. It is equally important to note, that often times insurance companies may not pay for certain types of evaluations. Clinical Supervision Rates

Clinical supervision is billed at a flat rate of $300 monthly to cover the required hours and times for supervision.

Court/Legal Fee’s

Precises’ policy is to not testify in court matters. Therefore you are responsible for my fee’s for time out of the office and travel with a legal subpoena to testify regarding services provided at Precise. Legal consultation and correspondence, report writing and legal letters are billed per hour rate and payment in full is required before releasing letters or reports in legal matters.

$300 per hour rate for any court preparation or letters

If someone from Precise is required to testify in court:

$300 per hour with a 4 hour minimum (1200 retainer fee due at time of subpoena) for matters within 40 miles

$300 per hour with a 8 hour minimum (2400 retainer due at time of subpoena) for matter outside of 40 mile radius

Milage and over-night stay at then going rate if required.
